What are DirectPoints?


DirectPoints are rewarded to you for every online survey you complete. The value of DirectPoints is fixed against the U.S. Dollar at one cent per DirectPoint (i.e., 10 DirectPoints=10 cents, 100 DirectPoints=$1.00). The number of points offered for completing a survey will vary depending on the length and complexity of the survey as well as the target consumer group.




How do I know how may DirectPoints I get for participating in a survey?

Why do some surveys offer more or less DirectPoints than others?

What can I do with DirectPoints?


Anything! DirectPoints are redeemable for cash. Simply send an email to panelrelations@directiveanalytics.com with the subject “Check Request” and we will send you a check for the balance in your account. 100 DirectPoints is equal to $1. Please be sure to include your current mailing address in your emailed request.




How do I check my DirectPoints balance?


Simply send an email to panelrelations@directiveanalytics.com with the subject “Balance Request” and we will send you an email back with the DirectPoints balance in your account. Note that it may take up to 4 weeks for points to post to your account.




How do I request a check for the balance in my DirectPoints account?


Simply send an email to panelrelations@directiveanalytics.com with the subject “Check Request” and we will send you a check for the balance in your account. 100 DirectPoints is equal to $1. Please be sure to include your current mailing address in your emailed request.




How long does it take to receive a check for my DirectPoints balance?


When requesting a check, please be sure to include your current mailing address. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your request and another later when the payment has been mailed.




How can I receive more survey invitations?


Selection for survey participants is based upon the target consumer group; these criteria are set forth by our clients. Within the target group, selection is most often random.




Can I Join the Panel if I don’t live in the United States?


Yes, we accept panelists from all countries! Directive Analytics is currently in the process of building a larger international panel. At this time there are fewer survey opportunities for non-U.S. panelists. As we increase the size of our international panel there will be more surveys available for international members.




Directive Analytics is Committed to Quality


Please note that while taking our surveys you will often encounter multiple quality assurance checkpoints. This is so that we can provide our clients with the best quality data. Respondents who do not pass quality assurance checks will be terminated from the survey. Panelists who fail these checks repeatedly (e.g., provide inconsistent responses) will be removed from the panel and will not receive any further invitations.
